BIOSOLUTIONS is an investigator site, specializing in Phase II-IV pharmaceutical and device studies. Our location within Gateway Medical Center offers Rheumatology Care and complements it with diagnostic and nutrition services, allows us to offer a distinct level of service to the medical research community. This is the result of over 15 years of collective experience in the fields of medicine and clinical trials.

BIOSOLUTIONS is comprised of community based Investigators dedicated to overseeing all aspects of the clinical trials plus an experienced team of clinical research professionals focusing on quality research data while recognizing that speed, responsiveness and accountability are also core needs of our clients.

The key to our success has been our location within existing clinical practice. Our primary source of research subjects is the patients seen in our clinic setting. More than 90% of the patients come from the clinic. Our secondary sources are community based advertising and a research data bank. BIOSOLUTIONS’ expertise and local clinical site provide our sponsors with consistent subject enrollment, evaluable patients with complete and accurate data.

    Our facility boasts a brand new medical office building designed to support cutting-edge research and patient care. We have a dedicated research space for our staff, monitors, and lab, ensuring a focused environment for high-quality clinical studies. The facility includes secured and temperature-controlled drug storage, maintaining the integrity of our pharmaceuticals and materials.

    Operating as a private practice, we offer multiple private exam rooms dedicated to subject visits, ensuring privacy and comfort for our patients. Our lab services are integrated seamlessly into the research environment, and we work with a central IRB to uphold the highest ethical standards. Our facility is equipped with wireless internet, phones, and fax capabilities, providing robust communication and data transfer support. Additionally, we have full access to practice EMR, enabling efficient and accurate medical record management. Our staff is extensively trained, holding certifications in GCP, NIH, and AITA protocols.

    As part of Gateway Medical, we offer a diverse range of specialties, including Radiology/Imaging Services, Laboratory, Dermatology, Internal Medicine, Optometry, Neurology, Urology, Pulmonology, Physical Therapy, and Pharmacy. This multidisciplinary approach allows us to provide comprehensive care and support for our research participants.

    Our facility is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment to conduct Phase II-IV pharmaceutical and device studies from start to end. All equipment is meticulously calibrated, including freezers and refrigerators for study drugs and materials, ECG machines, ultrasound machines, spirometry machines, digital and manual blood pressure machines, stadiometers, centrifuge, and a -20°C degree freezer. We also have dry ice access to ensure the proper handling and storage of sensitive materials.

    ACRC Studies is fully equipped to conduct Phase II-IV pharmaceutical and device studies from start to end, implementing all protocols in the most ethical and efficient manner. This ensures our sponsors receive the data they need to expedite the drug development process. All our equipment is meticulously calibrated to maintain the highest standards of accuracy and reliability.

    Our facility includes freezers and refrigerators specifically designed for study drugs and materials, including a -20 degree C freezer and a refrigerator to ensure the proper storage of sensitive substances. We utilize ECG machines to monitor the heart activity of participants, ensuring comprehensive cardiovascular assessment during studies.

    Ultrasound machines are employed for precise imaging and diagnostic purposes, while spirometry machines are used to measure lung function, providing critical respiratory data. Our digital and manual blood pressure machines ensure accurate measurement of blood pressure, essential for monitoring the cardiovascular health of study participants.

    Stadiometers are available for accurate height measurement, and our centrifuge equipment is essential for processing blood samples and other biological materials. The facility also includes a second -20 C degree freezer and access to dry ice to support the handling and storage of temperature-sensitive samples.

    At ACRC Studies, we pride ourselves on the well-organized execution of studies, rapid start-up, meeting enrollment expectations, and site efficiencies. We ensure the success of our studies by providing sponsors and CROs with complete and accurate data in a timely manner.

    Our research team is composed of multiple principal investigators (PIs), each specializing in different areas. They are supported by multiple sub-investigators to ensure comprehensive oversight and expertise for each study. The team is led by our Director of Business Operations, who oversees the administrative and operational aspects of our research activities.

    The clinical operations are managed by a dedicated Study Manager (LVN), who coordinates with clinical research coordinators to ensure the smooth progress of studies. Our Regulatory Coordinator ensures all regulatory requirements are met, and our Lab Technician (IATA Certified) manages the collection, processing, and shipment of biological samples.

    Our commitment to excellence is reflected in our dedication to continuous education and professional development. We provide up-to-date training for our staff to keep them abreast of the latest developments and best practices in clinical research. This includes in-house meetings for team collaboration and discussion, as well as ongoing training by sponsors through conferences, webinars, and investigator meetings.
